SOLDIERS!

HQ bought a new anti-fog machine to finally clear the upper three areas in the game!

In version 22 of the offline mod, we added some new features and fixed a bunch of bugs. While Polar Bear and PvP are not included in this update (we need more time to finish those, sorry :/ ), there's a whole of interesting stuff here!

We hope you will enjoy it!

Important note: the Android/iOS and browser versions are not yet finished and will be released later (in a few weeks)!

New areas

Three new buildings: Gold Factory, M.A.S.H. and Hospital!

Gold Factory is, as the name says, a building that generates Gold.
Cost: 99 Gold
Production rate: 3 Gold every 8 hours
Maximum amount: 3 per map

M.A.S.H. and Hospital were supply buildings in the original game. However, we found that a little boring and tried a different approach. Every x hours, you can move a damaged unit within the range of the building, and it will get healed. Any feedback on this is very welcome!

M.A.S.H.
Cost: 15000 Cash
Heal rate: 5 HP every 5 hours
Maximum amount: 3 per map

Hospital
Cost: 99 Gold
Heal rate: 10 HP every 6 hours
Maximum amount: 2 per map

Changelog

New features
  • New units have joined the battlefield: Elite Rocketeer, Elite Juggernaut and the dreaded Premium Tank! Also the Fuel Truck and the Bulldozer should show their faces again;

  • Three new areas have called our help to be liberated, don't wait and go help them out;

  • We care a lot about our units, we now offer medicaid for units on the front line. Insurance not included (new M.A.S.H. and hospital buildings);

  • Something went weird with one of our factories, it has started to produce gold bars instead of ammunition. I don't know if we have any use for this but we gave you the blueprints to it nonetheless (Gold Factory);

  • The gold in storage also looks different but the value still seems to be the same (new Gold icons in the shop);

  • We found the place where Vile was storing our mobile information, and inserted a spy to it (Android progress can now be imported/exported);

  • For the recruits that forgot how to move units we have put some funds aside for the option to go back through military school again, you can accept the invitation in the settings (you can restart the tutorial in the settings);

  • Satelites have been fitted with a hovering mode while inactive so they stay where they are instead of drifting off (last camera position is now saved when going offline);

  • Both player and enemy units now hold up a sign saying their HP and how much damage they deal. Some old dude mentioned remembering this in the originals and we liked the idea;

  • Item drops rates have been changed to improve unit drops and building construction;

  • The characters no longer have to feel claustrophobic (bigger story characters);

  • Enemy spies have infiltrated our supply lines and are excessively using them to slow us down (added an option to disable supply drops animations in the settings)

Bug Fixes
  • Supply drops can now be sabotaged when offline;

  • Sabotaged supply drops now give rewards when playing in other languages than English;

  • Oil container supply drop have the missing parts in the graphics/animation added again;

  • MRE + Oil containers now work on desert;

  • Fixed water plant being buildable from the start instead of after airport missions;

  • Waterplant unlock pop up no longer has burning building graphic;

  • Unit caps are working again, no more infinite infantry;

  • Player defenses now all fire properly;

  • Enemy spawns now properly happen even when the game is offline;

  • Maps no longer reappear in the shop;

  • Items no longer dissapear from inventory when continuing to click after using a pack;

  • Added new armor and artillery unit cap popups, similar to the one for infantry;

  • Fixed tutorial camera not moving;

  • Changed the process of unlocking Desert;

  • Fixed certain missions having wrong icons/descriptions;

  • MaxAmount and AvailableInMaps now work for all buildings;

  • Merge Bagel's popup + tooltip scaling only on mobile for now;

  • The Android version no longer resets itself after a while;

  • Rocketeer can now cross mountains, sea tiles and shore tiles;

  • Defenses can no longer remain at 0hp instead of being destroyed;

  • Elite Rocket Battery no longer deals psychic damage but fires an actual projectile;

  • Mission bar can now have 3 missions visible at all times;

  • Buying units no longer places one at 0,0;

  • Moved weird water texture from the right side to the bottom.
